There are a few different ways to add vertical links, or dependencies, between tasks on different rows in your schedule.

Working remotely
I started working remotely last month. Can I use my Milestones license on my personal laptop?

Horizontal connector size
I cannot figure out how to size the connectors to fit the height of my task row. I can size the symbols on either end but cannot make the connector fit in the row.

Chart comparison
When I refresh a Milestones schedule from an updated Excel file can I get a report to see the difference between the original file and the updated file.

Scroll-Lock affects arrow keys
I am trying to move symbols to different outlines within the row but holding down shift and then using the arrow to go up or down. This normally works but is not currently working for me.

Change a symbol’s color
How can I change the color of an individual symbol on the schedule?

Change the color of horizontal bars
How can I change the color of an individual bar on the schedule?

Hide the dates on summary lines
When I roll-up all lower-level task bars to the summary line, I would like to hide the symbol dates. Is this possible?

No change or unexpected changes after schedule refresh

When I try to launch the symbol hyperlink, the linked Excel file will not open. What is wrong?

Video: Remote Desktop with Milestones Professional

Many of our customers (and also us!) are working remotely due to various local laws or recommendations.
There are a couple things to note when using Milestones Professional remotely, which you can see in this short video.
Just a reminder, our software license does allow Milestones Professional to be installed on a second machine, as long as the same person is using it, in case you want to install Milestones Professional on your home computer.

Percent Complete pie color
When using the Percent Complete SmartColumn, how do you change the color of the pie chart that appears?

Link a Microsoft Project schedule to my Milestones chart
I generated a MS Pro file by hand based on the data in one of my MS Project Files. I just opened MS Pro and begin placing Milestones and Bars in a blank file. The items I placed were based on data within my MS Project File. Is there a way to link the dates on my Milestones Professional schedule to Microsoft Project so I can later update the data in my MS Pro File (the milestones and bars) automatically if the dates in my MS Project File change?

Set Percent Complete for Several Tasks
I really need to set the % complete for individual bars on my schedule. I know I can set them on individual task rows and then roll them up, but frankly I really don’t want to set up an outlined schedule. Is there any way to do this?

With Milestones Professional, it’s easy to enable this feature and even customize which colors to use for complete or incomplete tasks.

Percent Complete pie color

You can send the actual schedule file to someone, save it as a PDF, save it to PowerPoint, or even an image file.

I know I can have a symbol date and symbol text displayed with a symbol, separately. Is there a way to show them together? I want the symbol’s date shown right under a line of symbol text.
